
I prepared classic Southern vegetable fare for tonight's Sunday Supper. It was a beautiful day for dining on the side porch amidst the blooming hydrangeas. Jeff and Cory joined me for dinner, and Jeff made his infamous Georgia pecan pie for dessert. I cooked a pot of pinto beans with ham hocks and served with my mother's Southern chow chow. All in all, a graceful and comforting supper with great friends! Another hectic begins tomorrow.
