31 January 2010 - The Grammys




The Grammy Awards are on tonight, so I am making pot roast! Last night, Jeff and Cory cooked a birthday dinner for me, and our good friends Steve and Amado came down. We had a blast, and the dinner was wonderful! Cory made some delicious fried mozzarella for an appetizer, and Jeff made an amazing chicken parmesan for the entree and his famous Parker House rolls! Amado made a wonderful pumpkin spice cake, and everyone made me feel very special. We all went to Keithsburg Cafe for breakfast. What a blast!!!

So, my birthday month is coming to an end tonight. For tonight's Sunday Supper, I made pot roast for me and the boys and roasted turkey breast for Jim. I also cooked some collard greens with smoked turkey wings and made rice krispy treats for dessert. Keeping it simple after a very festive weekend...
